“Dynamic Fresco”  in the interior of the dome of the Petruzelli Theatre, Bari, Italy

The installation concerns the interior dome of the theatre where the plaster and stuccos have been reconstructed based on the original model. The projected images, inspired by the ancient frescos, cover the dome, while the light installation illuminates the decorative and architectural details of the cupola. The final vision offered to the spectator will be the fusion between the digital images and the semi-spherical base used for projection. Thus the Petruzelli Theatre becomes the first classic theatre to be equipped with a dome painted with a digital dynamic fresco. Directed with Massimiliano Siccardi, Music by Marco Melia.

Permanent installation beginning December 2008, Bari, Italy. Press images and Column
